To ensure your home is ready for new flooring, make arrangements to remove existing flooring and repairs to subfloor if needed. Remove all furniture, décor, and empty your closets. I you will be painting the walls or baseboards, have this completed before your carpeting is due to be installed.
On installation day, be prepared to be on site to answer any questions, keep pets and children secured from the work area, and our crew will work efficiently and keep your new carpet pristine.
Once carpet or carpet tiles are installed, it is wise to open windows or use a fan to air out the building. You may need to wait a few days before you put your furniture back to allow the carpet to shed. Frequent vacuuming will help with this. If you have any concerns, such as a loose seam or bump, call us right away! Following the above post-installation steps, your new carpet will look it’s best for many years!
